Madame Fetid, a vain and wicked witch, uses magic to eat living things to retain her youth, including people. She sets her sights on Ben, a young boy from a nearby village, and conjures a plan to lure him to her dilapidated house. With the help of her talking insects, Fetid aims to devour Ben. However, Big, a ferocious cave troll, also becomes a target for her hunger.
