The death of the Hun king sparks a struggle for power between his two sons, Bleda and Attila. Bleda seeks peace with Rome, while Attila believes in the power of the sword. Roman general Aethius tries to negotiate a peace treaty, but it's ultimately rejected by the weak Emperor Valentinian and his mother, Empress Galla Placidia.
