Ebenezer Scrooge, a wealthy old man obsessed with money, refuses to let anything, including Christmas, get in the way of his profits. He denies his employee Bob Cratchit Christmas day off and shows no compassion to the poor and hungry. Even his only living relative Fred's attempts to cheer him up fail. However, a visit from the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come reveals a bleak future if Scrooge doesn't change his ways. He sees the suffering of Tiny Tim and his own lonely fate. Horrified, Scrooge realizes he must reform. By the end of his journey, he's a changed man, making amends and learning to keep Christmas spirit all year round.
