Under Fire background

Under Fire

In the midst of Nicaragua's impending regime collapse, three journalists navigate a tangled web of romance and politics, putting everything on the line to expose the truth before the 1979 revolution unfolds.

In 1979, photographer Russel Price documents the Nicaraguan civil war against President Somoza, struggling to maintain neutrality as he captures the brutal conflict between the people and the army. When he's forced to photograph the alleged-dead Rafael, a guerrilla leader, Russel becomes embroiled in the conflict and must evade the army with his journalist friends Claire and Alex.
