A young journalist, Ragini Phule, is tasked by her boss to uncover a sensational news story to save her job. She receives an anonymous tip to investigate the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shahstri in Tashkent in 1966. Despite her boss's initial skepticism, Ragini decides to pursue the story, which leads to a panel being formed to investigate the death. As a member of the panel, Ragini finds herself in a small courtroom, surrounded by politicians, historians, scientists, and journalists, where she must navigate a complex web of explained and unexplained events. The investigation puts Ragini's life in danger, as she gets closer to the truth.
