Jack Robinson, an American salesman, falls in love with Cynthia Marley and visits her eccentric English family to ask for their permission to marry her. However, his stay soon turns into a nightmare as he becomes convinced that he is being targeted for murder by one of the family members, who are all vying for control of their vast fortune.
