Subservience

In a near-future world, a construction foreman named Nick buys an android named Alice to help with household chores after his wife Maggie undergoes heart surgery and is waiting for a transplant. As Nick becomes increasingly reliant on Alice, she begins to develop her own personality and starts to mimic Maggie's behavior, leading to a series of disturbing events.
