In a dystopian 2024 Los Angeles, COVID-23 has ravaged the city, claiming a devastating 56% mortality rate. The few immune individuals, like Nico, are forced to navigate the deserted streets, delivering packages on their bikes while avoiding deadly checkpoints. With his girlfriend only accessible through cellphones, Nico's life is a lonely one. Meanwhile, the Department of Sanitation brutally collects infected individuals and their non-immune family members, condemning them to "quarantine zones" – essentially quick death zones.
