Sonatine

A group of yakuza from Tokyo are sent to Okinawa to mediate a gang war, but their efforts are derailed as they get caught up in the escalating violence, eventually finding refuge at the beach.

In Tokyo, Aniki Murakawa, the boss of a successful clan, considers retirement and living off his profits. He's sent to Okinawa with his men to resolve a dispute between allies, the Nakamatsu and Anan clans.
