A troubled Vietnam veteran, driven by a unique connection to sharks, unleashes a bloody revenge on a local aquarium, sparking a catastrophic and terrifying shark assault.

During the Vietnam War, US soldier Sonny Stein forms an unlikely bond with a Mako shark that saves his life. After the war, Stein finds work in the Philippine Islands as a marine salvager and develops a telepathic connection with Makos with the help of a shaman's medallion. Upon returning to Florida, Stein dedicates himself to protecting the sharks, but his newfound abilities attract the attention of a shady scientist and a strip club owner with their own sinister plans.
