Hard Truths

Pansy, a woman consumed by anger and depression, has a hair-trigger temper and is quick to take offense. She relentlessly criticizes her husband and son, who have learned to avoid arguing with her. She also picks fights with strangers and sales clerks, and is prone to complaining about the world's many flaws, often to her cheerful sister Chantal, who is one of the few people who still tries to understand her.
