Good Morning, Vietnam

A young Disc Jockey is sent to Vietnam to entertain the troops with his humor on Armed Forces Radio. Despite initial resistance from management, he becomes a huge hit with the soldiers, but his unconventional style and lack of military background make him a target for criticism. Off-air, he explores the local culture, befriends the Vietnamese, and faces the harsh realities of war that go unreported on the radio.
