Adventurers in Hong Kong learn of a 10-story-tall ape in the Himalayas and set out to capture it, but only one, Johnny, a heartbroken explorer, perseveres. He finds the monster, Utam, and discovers it has been caring for a woman, Samantha, who survived a plane crash. As they fall in love in the jungle, Johnny asks Samantha to convince Utam to go to Hong Kong, but a promoter, Lu Tien, takes control, putting Utam on display and sparking chaos when Lu Tien assaults Samantha.
