Family

A Dublin family's world is shattered as they confront the devastating consequences of a husband's irresponsible decisions, including theft and betrayal, and fight to preserve a sense of stability amidst the turmoil.

A Dublin couple with four children are the focus of this four-part made-for-TV drama. The husband, Charlo, is a troubled individual who is abusive, a thief, and has affairs. His wife, Paula, struggles with her own drinking problem and is torn between her love for Charlo and her disgust with his behavior. Their children, including a young man who is being initiated into the world of beer and football by his father, and a daughter who is starting her first job at a garment factory, are all affected by Charlo's actions. As tensions rise, the family is forced to confront the consequences of Charlo's behavior.
