Derailed

A successful advertising executive, Charles "Chaz" Schine, is exhausted by his ungrateful family, including his wife and daughter. He meets a charming investment adviser, Lucinda Harris, on a train and they start an affair. However, their encounter is interrupted by a thug who rapes Lucinda and blackmails Chaz, leading to a series of violent and abusive events. As Chaz tries to take revenge, he discovers Lucinda's true identity and that she was part of an elaborate setup. His ill-conceived plan leads to a cycle of violence and unexpected consequences for those involved.
