A gang of outlaws, led by Jake Remy, attempts to flee to Mexico after a successful heist, but their path is blocked by a river that can only be crossed by a ferry barge. The barge operator, Travis, refuses to be intimidated, and the gang is left stranded, sparking a tense standoff with the townspeople who have also been separated by the river.
