Shinichi, fleeing his problems and fears, prays to the Kawakami oak tree for courage and is transported to ancient feudal Japan. He finds himself in the midst of a battle in the Kasuga province, where he meets the great warrior samurai, Demon Ijiri. Ijiri is a formidable fighter, but a less successful lover, having been in love with Princess Ren since his youth.
