The documentary All God's Children tells the personal story of three families who sent their children to a boarding school in West Africa, run by the Christian and Missionary Alliance, in the 1950s. The children, aged 6 and above, were subjected to emotional, spiritual, physical, and sexual abuse by the all-missionary staff. It took the children decades to acknowledge the effects of the abuse, and when they finally spoke out, the Church denied the allegations and refused to help. However, through years of activism, the survivors and their parents compelled the Christian and Missionary Alliance to conduct an investigation and acknowledge the abuses, paving the way for healing.
