When a couple moves into a new apartment, they unwittingly inherit a mysterious device that allows communication with the spirit world. As they settle in, the wife begins to use the device, only to be haunted by a murdered man's vengeful spirit. The spirits' demands for justice draw her into a deadly mystery, putting her in the crosshairs of the killers who are now suspicious of her motives.
