The Giver

In a society without love, pain, or color, Jonas, a young individual, begins to question the conformity. As he receives memories of the past from the Giver, a wise elder, he starts to understand the true meaning of human emotions. His newfound awareness puts him at odds with the Chief Elder, who enforces the society's strict rules. When Jonas discovers a plot to terminate an innocent infant, Gabriel, he decides to take a stand and risk everything to save the child, ultimately becoming the enemy of his own society.
