Ramona

A Native-American and Mexican woman escapes a forced marriage to her adopted brother and discovers a new sense of purpose by joining a Native man, embracing a future of hope and promise.

Ramona flees an arranged marriage to her step-adopted brother, Felipe, and finds love with an American Indian, marrying him and having a son. Tragedy strikes when her husband and child perish, sending Ramona into a downward spiral of grief. She becomes lost in the wilderness, only to be rescued by Felipe, who nurses her back to health and ultimately brings her back into his life.
