Two young adults, haunted by their painful past, fight to stay alive and hold onto hope in a harsh and unforgiving urban environment.

An 8-year-old girl is taken from her home and convinced her family doesn't want her. After years of horror, she's dumped by her captors and must survive on the streets with fellow victims. Eventually, she accepts help from a shelter counselor and finds her way home, but instead discovers the love of her life and learns that you can never go back.
