Lita and her husband Rama's bliss is short-lived, as Lita is repeatedly haunted by eerie female entities. Desperate for relief, Rama hires Mr. Adam to cleanse their home of the malevolent spirits. Mr. Adam, however, reveals that the true source of the terror lies within Lita herself, suggesting that the answer to her torment can be found in her troubled past. He encourages Lita to confront her dark history by seeking answers from her estranged mother, Sari, who is institutionalized in a mental hospital.
