Dublin in Brass background

Dublin in Brass

An Irish policeman-in-training trades his homeland for New York City to pursue his dreams of serving and singing with the NYPD, making a difficult decision that leaves his loved one behind.

Morton Downey's smooth voice is a delight in any short film. He performs several new numbers, accompanied by a chorus line of girls who dance in and out of various sets. The short follows Downey's character as he graduates from an Irish police training school and arrives in America, ready to join the New York police force. However, he's inspired by the St. Patrick's Day parade and decides to pursue a career in radio instead, landing a spot with a local station.
