An ex-cop, released from prison after serving eight years for killing his wife's murderer, returns to his hometown in Georgia, seeking to escape his past. He discovers a poaching ring, led by a Hong Kong businessman, and decides to take action. However, he soon learns that the ring is sanctioned by his former best friend, who runs the town with impunity. As the hero's daughter becomes involved and people start dying, he becomes consumed by revenge and ultimately breaks out a powerful gun hidden under his porch.
