A poor villager, heavily in debt, returns to the village under the cover of night to avoid a moneylender. Desperate for cash, he decides to sell his beloved donkey, Bhasmasur, in the city, despite his son's strong bond with the animal. The son, Tipu, tries to stop the sale but ultimately joins his father on a journey to the city, where they face various challenges that bring them closer together.
