A Tibetan nun, Choying Drolma, escapes a life of domestic violence and forced marriage by finding solace in singing at a monastery. Her music gains international recognition, but not everyone approves of nuns singing, leading to a boycott in Hong Kong. Despite this, she becomes a global advocate for girls' education, founding schools and hospitals, and becomes a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
