A young rebel, Joseph Kony, forms the Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda in 1989, claiming to be visited by spirits. Over 25 years, the LRA kidnaps over 60,000 teenagers, with less than half returning alive. Three friends, Geofrey, Nighty, and Michael, were among those kidnapped at 12 or 13. Now, they attempt to rebuild their lives and move on, revisiting the places of their stolen childhood.
