A former Japanese yakuza member is released from prison and travels to LA to buy cocaine, intending to smuggle it back to Japan and retire to marry his girlfriend. However, he's betrayed, his girlfriend is shot, and he loses the drugs. He decides to stay in LA, retrieve the cocaine, and exact revenge, following the samurai code of the yakuza. Along the way, he discovers his long-lost sister is in LA and teams up with a petty thief to find justice.
