Wild Bill Hickok, haunted by recurring nightmares of a hellish great white buffalo, sets out to hunt the mythical creature in the snowy wilderness. He joins forces with his old friend Charlie, while Indian Chief Crazy Horse, still grieving the loss of his child to the beast, also pursues it.
