The documentary "The Choir" follows the lives of Jabulani Shabangu and his fellow inmates at South Africa's largest prison, Leeukwop Correctional Facility, over a four-year period.

Jabulani Shabangu, a rebellious and angry inmate, finds a new purpose in life when he joins a prison choir in Leeukwop Prison, South Africa's largest prison. Under the guidance of a wise old bank robber, Coleman, Jabulani rises to lead the choir to victory, but ultimately discovers that the true power of the choir lies in the brotherhood and wisdom that transforms his life and prepares him for a brighter future.
