In Argentina, we often view Finland as a vastly different society, but we know little about their culture. During my travels, I discovered a shared link between our nations and decided to explore the Finnish Tango, delving beyond its musical and dance forms to uncover its significance in Finnish culture. I interviewed musicians, including MA Numinem and Susana Rinaldi, as well as tango enthusiasts like Elina Lajunen, who has a deep connection to the music and has even traveled to Argentina to further her studies. Through my research, I found that despite the distance between our countries, we share a deeper connection than initially meets the eye.
