Pete & Cleo

A young boy named Cleo embarks on a journey back to his Navajo homeland during spring break, only to face challenges and conflicts with his brother-father, Pete. The two brothers have vastly different interests and values, leading to bickering and resentment. Despite their differences, Cleo and Pete bond over a game of Navajo code talkers and a friendly competition to clean their family's Hogan. However, their relationship is put to the test when Pete becomes jealous of Cleo's passion for learning and his own lack of academic achievement. The story explores themes of identity, family dynamics, and the importance of embracing one's cultural heritage.
