Penny Pinchers

A struggling young man, Ji-woong, is forced to confront his financial woes after his mother cuts him off due to his dishonesty. With nowhere to turn, he becomes homeless. Just as all hope seems lost, he meets Hong-sil, a peculiar woman who has built a peculiar business model around collecting and selling recyclables. Her plan to reach her savings goal of 20 million dollars takes an unexpected turn when she discovers she needs a second bank account under someone else's name. Ji-woong sees an opportunity and becomes entangled in Hong-sil's quixotic quest.
