In the aftermath of the Philippines' defeat in World War II, the Japanese uncover a hidden stash of millions of dollars in silver dumped into Manila Bay by Gen. MacArthur to prevent it from falling into enemy hands. Two American U.S. Navy deep-sea divers, captured by the Japanese, are coerced to dive into the depths in search of the lost treasure.
