A fine art photographer, Damien Drake, reemerges after a year-long hiatus from his "Death Series" of staged death scenes. Despite his new promoter's efforts, his work "The Voyeur" is met with public rejection. A past acquaintance, John Godewynn, who admires Damien's dark photography, returns and pressures him to return to his old creative work.
