The Muranow neighborhood in Warsaw was once a thriving center of Jewish life, turned into the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II. After the war, the neighborhood was rebuilt with rubble from its own destruction. Today, thousands of Poles live in the green and spacious Muranow, where a dark past still haunts it.
