The film showcases the daily struggles of those on the periphery of the war, as they adapt to new circumstances and react to their changing needs. The directors, Veronika Glasunowa and Lukasz Lakomy, built a relationship of trust with the locals before the war, allowing them to gain extraordinary insights into the lives of those affected.
