In 1982 Stockholm, 12-year-old Oskar, a bullied outcast, daydreams of revenge against his tormentors. However, after meeting Eli, a mysterious and charismatic next-door neighbor, Oskar's thoughts on justice and vengeance become increasingly complicated. As violence and murder erupt in the quiet suburb, Oskar must confront his own emotions and decide whether to forgive and forget or risk everything for revenge.
