Philip "HAWK" Hawkins is obsessed with killing vampires and has a troubled past after being kicked out of the Army for staking a fellow soldier. After a dull job as a night security guard, Hawk's life is turned upside down when vampires appear in his hometown of Santa Muerte, California, but no one believes him. With his back against the wall, Hawk teams up with Revson "REV" McCabe, a groundskeeper who partially believes him, to save their hometown from the murderous vampires.
