Madeline, a Type-A personality, plans a meticulous honeymoon to Niagara Falls with her fiancé Jason, only to be broken up with and left with a pre-paid, non-refundable trip. Her sister convinces her to take the trip to prove to Jason that she can be spontaneous. When Madeline meets her tour guide Mike, she's surprised to learn they'll be working together, and Mike convinces her to add adventure activities to the itinerary. As they spend more time together, Madeline and Mike open up about their past heartaches and start to fall for each other, but Madeline's still tied to her ex.
