A shipwrecked Count Dracula is rescued by a young woman named Mina Van Helsing, who is visiting her friend Lucy Seward. The Count soon takes the life of Mina and begins courting Lucy, intending to make her his next bride. However, Lucy's father, Dr. Abraham Van Helsing, is called to the scene and discovers the Count's true nature as a vampire.
