In the late 1980s, the Delta Pi sorority at Sun State University in Tampa, Florida, was a tradition-steeped institution. However, the arrival of a serial killer during Spring Break in 1986 disrupted this tradition. The killer targeted a group of sorority sisters, including Marissa Chambers, who was considered too young and too smart to be part of the group. The killer's motives remained unclear, and the sorority was eventually shut down.
