Rob, a lonely and desperate man, concocts a grandiose plan to meet women by pretending to hunt down Jack S., who he believes murdered his wife. He teams up with Hannah, a seductive bartender who was once married to Jack S., and she agrees to help him track him down. Unbeknownst to Rob, the people he meets along the way have ulterior motives that turn his reality upside down.
