A kind-hearted priest establishes a sanctuary in Mexico, offering a loving and supportive home for forsaken and orphaned youngsters.

A priest, Father Wasson, forms a bond with a group of orphaned children in a Mexican town, taking a particular interest in a troubled boy named Julio, whom he believes is acting out due to the loss of his parents. Father Wasson envisions Julio growing up to become a doctor. However, a personal tragedy strikes Father Wasson when his wife and daughter are killed, leading him to seek solace in his old home and his relationship with Julio.
